Prayer request for a blogger friend

Because of the sensitive nature of the situation, I am not revealing this blogger's identity.

There's a great blogging mommy out there that needs our prayers. During this time of joy and celebration, my friend has had to take her children and herself to a woman's shelter. The husband is abusive. The police and lawyers are involved. It's ugly and not something anyone should have to go through.

Because she is in a shelter, she has limited internet access and I cannot email her. But she has a strong faith. She believes in the awesome power of prayer. And I do too.

Please pray for her and her children. Pray God gives them strength and sees them through. And that they can move on to bigger and better things.

Thank you :)

She and her kids will continually be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope she finds safe permanent shelter away from the abuser.

Ya know, I was thinking...Maggie over at Okay.Fine.Dammit has a DV blog. She's one of the huge A-list bloggers and a wonderful writer. She's done a magazine article on this type of thing before and she is truly articulate when it comes to this sort of thing. Well she's generally beautifully articulate, but maybe you should let her know about this as well. She can help further the word in a huge way.

Just a thought.

That is so sad to go through esp. during the Christmas holiday. I will put her in my prayers.. God has already given her the courage to leave; now he will help her move on.

The great thing about your friend is that she had sense enough to get herself and her children out of that situation. That's one strong woman.

My prayers are with her and I hope that she will have a happier Christmas at the shelter than she would have in her abusive home. Heres to hoping that santa finds them.

Hi there ~ just popped over from Amandas blog (Penny n Pounds) to say hello.
I am praying for your friend ~ she just needs to stay strong and believe that there are brighter days ahead. I was in this self same situation a few years ago too ~ now myself and my children have a brighter future ahead of us ~ we are happier, safer and I have no regrets at all!
I hope that all goes well for her ~ please update us as to how she is doing.
Take care ~ love and hugs Tabitha XXX
