15 Minutes of Pure JOY

When for the last month, your very sunny forecast looks like this:

How can you sit inside when an actual RAIN hits the house? You can't :)

Sadly, it took longer to clean up then the actual storm. But it was worth it!

That is why I'm not sure I could live in the South. Those rain pictures are great. I'm on vacation so I'm happy to see I didn't miss the Sunday story.

Yeah for me...

That's one thing you definitely don't get here. I love a good rainstorm (although we did have a pretty big earthquake on Tuesday).

I would imagine that it would be so refreshing after all those hot, dry sunny days :)

Oh so worth it! I would have been out there around with them after that kind of heat.

I bet that was a blast! Our storms always come with lightening and hail, so we have to watch from inside.

Right, I wanna swap our rain for your sunshine.

You look like you're enjoying the rain way more than we ever do.

Boy can I relate to the numbers on your forecast! It was 110 here today! We do the same thing when it rains - dance and play in it!

I live in the south and for the first time in weeks it rained yesterday!! We were all so excited. It looks like you had a fun time playing in the rain!

I was down south last week in the middle of a storm...but I love warm rain too! Too bad I'm not allowed to get my cast wet.

That looks like so much fun! I wish it would rain on a hot day where I live- I'd be outside in a second!

Oh, what a wonderful, joyful picture!

It reminds me of how we all acted years ago at my brother's wedding reception. A months-long drought was ongoing, it was 102+ outside, but it started to rain. Soon a couple of us had gone out in the rain, party frocks and all, and pretty soon almost the entire wedding party was out in it, just so thankful to see it and feel it, despite the heat, the mess, the mud.

That was my first thought on seeing your delightful picture! Thanks for posting it!

Geez, after reading today's paper and seeing headlines that are absolutely horrible I need to see a POW titled "15 Minutes of Pure JOY"...
Thanks for the ray of light, and Happy POW!
