Just cannot get the hang of Facebook

I have tried, really really tried to join all the moms, the friends from the past, the friends of the husband on Facebook.

But I just can't get it.

I don't know if it's because of all the longer messages, the quizzes, the games....I just feel confused. Am I supposed to help someone find a henchman for his mafia war? Do I bake a virtual pie with fruit someone makes on the farm?

And then there's the whole 'chatting'. I did not figure that out until a few dozen people 'messaged' me. Do I tell them I'm sorry with a general message, writing on their walls or sending them a message in their inboxes?

I think I may need to stick to get ol' fashioned email ;)

I found it annoying too at first. Whenever you see that Farm/Mafia/Jewel crap just click the arrow next to the post that says" hide" and it won't show any of that game anymore.

You can also "hide" people that just bug you. :)

When someone sends you a private message there'll be a link to respond privately too.

Took me a while, but I like it now. You know, when everyone's being non-annoying.

You are soooo funny!!!! I do like it....I spend waaaay too much time checking everyone's status ;( I just find it easier because everyone is just right there :) If I had a blogroll though with that fancy updater when someone posts something new...I'd probably choose that....I don't accept any gifts or beers or virtual Easter Eggs on fb though....I hope it doesn't offend anyone!!!! So if you've sent me something....I'm not ignoring it...I don't even know it's there :) heee heee!!!! I just love ya Lisa!!!!!!!!!

I became addicted to checking everyone's status ALL THE TIME. I had to quit because it was taking time away from more important things than someone in high school's trip to Disney World that I haven't seen in 20 years! :-)

try facebook lite. Just type in lite.facebook.com and maybe you'll like that version, it's mellower not all the quizzes etc. FB is a bizarre bizarre world, wish I could give it up.
